Black curly hair and a long sand-colored trench coat—it was Armed Detective Dazai. His usual boyfriend.
But at this moment, that handsome face held no expression at all; he simply stared straight at Tu Bao, staring at Tu Bao's hand that was still holding another Dazai, at Tu Bao's lips that had just finished kissing the other's.
Tu Bao's Brain went "buzz" for a moment.
He looked down at the person in his arms—Boss Dazai. Then he looked at the person standing at the Doorway—Armed Detective Dazai.
Two Dazais.
He slowly released his grip and slid down from the Bed, his legs so weak he could barely stand.
Then he saw there were two more people in the Living Room.
One leaned against the window, wearing a black suit jacket, with bandages wrapped around his arms and nape, a cynical smile playing on his lips—Era Dazai.
One was sitting on the Sofa, small, wearing overalls, with bandages peeking out from the cuffs of his sleeves—Young Dazai [male].
Four.
Four Dazai Osamus.
Tu Bao's eyes turned red in a moment.
I.. I.." He opened his mouth, wanting to explain, but didn't know where to begin. He looked at Armed Detective Dazai, then at Boss Dazai, then at the other two, his tears fell with a "whoosh.
Ugh..
Armed Detective Dazai's expression changed. He walked over quickly and pulled Tu Bao into his arms.
Don't cry," he said, his Voice softening, "I'm not angry.
Tu Bao buried his face in his chest, sobbing convulsively, "B-but.. I kissed others.."
That was another me." Armed Detective Dazai sighed, "Does that count as Others?
Tu Bao raised his head, his Eyes red, with teardrops still clinging to his eyelashes: "I guess.. so?"
Armed Detective Dazai was amused by his uncertain tone and reached out to wipe away his tears.
Alright, stop crying," he said softly, "First, let's figure out what's going on here.
Boss Dazai sat up from the Bed and straightened his collar. He glanced at Armed Detective Dazai, then looked at Tu Bao, appearing lost in thought.
"You are this world's.. my lover?" he asked Tu Bao, his Voice very calm, but that calmness made one's skin crawl.
Tu Bao shrank back, hiding in Armed Detective Dazai's arms, only revealing half of his head, let out a soft "Mm."
Boss Dazai was silent for a few seconds.
In my world," he said, "there should be a version of you as well, right?
Tu Bao was stunned.
Logically speaking, every world has its corresponding existence," Boss Dazai said. "Since you are here, there should be one of me in my world as well.
He paused, his gaze deepening.
“Where is he?”
Tu Bao did not know how to answer. He simply looked at Boss Dazai, feeling a sudden pang of sadness in his heart—did this Dazai-san not have him by his side?
**Dazai interrupted impatiently, "So noisy, I might as well just go back."**
No!" Armed Detective Dazai said. "You appeared out of nowhere, so I have to figure out what's going on. Bao'er, what did you do last night?
Tu Bao sobbed as he thought for a moment, "I.. I wrote a wish in that book you gave me.."
Armed Detective Dazai froze for a moment, then laughed. "So it was on the back of that book? What did you write?"
Tu Bao said softly, "I wrote.. if only I could have met Dazai-san sooner, I really want to see Dazai-san from every era.."
Everyone fell silent.
**Dazai let out a sneer: "Childish."
Young Dazai tugged at the hem of Tu Bao's clothes and looked up at him, his violet Eyes filled with dependence: "Eldest Brother, don't cry. You don't look good when you cry."
Tu Bao was stunned for a moment by this childish remark, tears still hanging on his face.
Armed Detective Dazai knelt down to be at eye level with Young Dazai, a mirthless smile on his face. "Kid, why are you acting so well-behaved?"
Young Dazai hid behind Tu Bao, looking at him innocently.
Tu Bao protected Young Dazai: "Don't scare him, he's still a Child."
Armed Detective Dazai raised an eyebrow: "You don't know he's faking it?"
Tu Bao shook his head: "How could such a small Child pretend?"
Young Dazai was behind Tu Bao, secretly making a face at Armed Detective Dazai, then tugged on Tu Bao's sleeve: "Hold me."
Tu Bao picked him up, Young Dazai wrapped his arms around his neck, casting a provocative glance at Armed Detective Dazai.
Armed Detective Dazai narrowed his eyes, just about to speak, when **Dazai suddenly walked over from the Window, looking Tu Bao up and down.
Tsk," he said, "Does my future self really like this kind of crybaby?
Armed Detective Dazai's face darkened: "Shut up."
Did I say something wrong?" Dazai let out a laugh. "Soft and crybaby-ish, what's so good about that?
Tu Bao felt like crying again because of what he said.
But he held it back. He put Young Dazai down, then wiped his eyes and looked at Dazai.
"I.. I am very good at the Game," he said softly.
**Dazai raised an eyebrow.
How powerful?
Tu Bao said nothing. He walked to the TV, turned on the Game Console, picked up the Game Controller, selected a Versus Game, began to play.
Ten minutes later.
**Dazai looked at the character on the Screen that had knocked him out twenty times in a row, fell silent.
"Again," he said.
Another ten minutes.
Another twenty consecutive losses.
**Dazai put down the Game Controller, the look in his eyes as he looked toward Tu Bao changed.
You.." he began, then paused, "Come back with me.
Tu Bao was stunned: "Huh?"
I also need someone who can play Games with me," Dazai said, his tone serious. "You're coming back with me.
Armed Detective Dazai appeared beside them at some unknown point, stepping in front of Tu Bao: "Hey, don't try to steal my person."
**Dazai sneered, "Your person? He was just kissed by Others."
Armed Detective Dazai's expression darkened.
Tu Bao hid behind Armed Detective Dazai and said in a small voice, "I.. I'm not going.."
Boss Dazai had stood in the corner of the Living Room at some unknown time, quietly watching this scene. His gaze remained fixed on Tu Bao, as if he were trying to Confirm something.
Young Dazai ran over, hugged Tu Bao's leg, looked up, saying, "Brother, don't be afraid, I will protect you."
Tu Bao looked down at him, his heart melting.
Armed Detective Dazai grabbed Young Dazai by the collar and tossed him onto the Sofa: "Don't try that with me."
Young Dazai rolled once on the Sofa, scrambled up, tried to run toward Tu Bao again.
He threw himself into Tu Bao's arms, nuzzled against him, said softly, "Eldest Brother, I want a kiss."
Tu Bao hesitated for a moment, then lowered his head and kissed him on the forehead.
Young Dazai smiled, a particularly sweet smile.
Armed Detective Dazai was by his side, his face as dark as the bottom of a pot.
Boss Dazai had been standing by the Window, quietly watching all of this. His gaze fell upon Tu Bao, watching him for a long, long time.
Then he spoke, his Voice very soft:
If I had you on my side too..
He paused.
What will he be like?
Tu Bao raised his head and looked at him.
That Dazai-san, dressed in his black Boss outfit, had eyes as hollow as a stagnant pool. But at this very moment, a flicker of something seemed to flash within those Eyes.
He.." Tu Bao thought for a moment and said in a low voice, "He should be just like me. He likes playing Games, likes crying, likes.. Dazai-san.
Boss Dazai said nothing.
He looked at Tu Bao, looking at this soft, crybaby boy who would hold Young Dazai and gently coax him.
Young Dazai leaned his face against his shoulder and whispered, "Brother, you smell so good."
Tu Bao smiled and rubbed his little head.
Armed Detective Dazai watched from the side, his expression growing darker and darker; he once again grabbed Young Dazai by the collar and tossed him aside. Young Dazai took the opportunity to secretly grab Tu Bao's hand, looking as if he absolutely had to take him back, but Armed Detective Dazai noticed and tried to pull him away again.
The Living Room was in total chaos.
Tu Bao stood in the center, looking at the four Dazais, wanting to cry but having no tears.
How am I supposed to spend this New Year..
Wednesday
The New Year's Banquet at Vongola Headquarters is currently underway.
In the luxurious hall, the Guardians gathered together, with tables filled with delicacies. Sawada Tsunayoshi, dressed in a sharp Suit, stood among the crowd, conversing gently with the guests.
Tu sat on the Sofa in the Corner, holding a glass of champagne, his peach-blossom eyes lazily sweeping across the crowd. His long, silver-white curly hair draped over his shoulders, he wore a dark red formal outfit today, which made his skin appear even fairer.
Lambo ran over carrying a Cake and sat down beside Tu.
