Chapter 79(1 / 1)

Gojo Satoru nodded.

Kukuru Mountain is right there.

Tu Bai fell silent for a few seconds.

“That 'mirror'," he said, "if only we could find it.."

"Then you could go back," Gojo Satoru continued his sentence.

Tu Bai looked at him.

Gojo Satoru also looked at him.

The Room was quiet for a few seconds.

Let's go," Tu Bai said, standing up. "Let's go find the Zoldyck family.

---

Kukuru Mountain, Zoldyck Estate.

Silva sat in the Living Room, looking at the two people before him.

Gojo Satoru smiled, while Tu Bai stood beside him, his expression looking a bit unnatural.

"Borrowing an airship again?" Silva asked.

Yeah." Gojo Satoru nodded. "Just a place within the borders of Barthia. Just one round trip.

Silva fell silent for a few seconds.

The money I borrowed last time hasn't been paid back yet.

Gojo Satoru took a card out of his pocket and placed it on the desk.

The Final Payment and the lodging fees are all inside.

Silva picked up the card, took a look, put it into his Inner Pocket of Coat.

I can lend you the airship," he said. "But someone must go with you.

Gojo Satoru raised an eyebrow.

It's not that I don't trust you," Silva said. "It's just that thing is too conspicuous. If something happens, someone from the Zoldyck Family needs to be on hand to handle it.

The door was pushed open.

Illumi walked in, his hollow eyes staring at them.

"I'm coming along," he said.

Gojo Satoru looked at him, then looked at Silva.

Fine," he said. "It's good to have someone to lead the way.

Tu Bai stood to the side without a word. He always felt that the way the man named Illumi looked at him was a bit strange, as if he were looking at something interesting.

The three of them walked out of the Living Room, preparing to head toward the Airship.

Walking to the corner of the Corridor, a Figure suddenly appeared.

Silver Hair, Blue Eyes, looking about twelve or thirteen years old.

Killua Zoldyck.

He stood there, looking at Gojo Satoru, then at Tu Bai.

"Are you going to take the Airship to get out?" he asked.

Gojo Satoru nodded.

"I'm going too," Killua Zoldyck said.

Gojo Satoru was stunned.

You?

Yeah." Killua Zoldyck nodded, "I've never taken an Airship out to have fun before.

It's not for fun," Gojo Satoru said, "It's to find something.

Then I'm going too," Killua Zoldyck insisted, "I won't cause any trouble.

Gojo Satoru looked at Illumi.

Illumi looked at Killua Zoldyck expressionlessly, without saying a word.

Killua Zoldyck didn't even look at him, just stared at Gojo Satoru.

Fine," Gojo Satoru said, "but you have to follow orders.

Killua Zoldyck's eyes lit up.

Alright!

He ran over, stayed by Gojo Satoru's side, looked at Tu Bai curiously.

So you are that Rabbit King?

Tu Bai's face darkened.

Don't call me Rabbit King.

Killua Zoldyck blinked, then looked at his belly.

Is there really a Baby in your belly?

Tu Bai: ".."

Gojo Satoru laughed out loud beside him.

---

The sky was already turning dark by the time the Airship ascended.

The night sky of the Republic of Batorchia was very clear, stars could be seen. Tu Bai stood by the Window, staring blankly at the shrinking Kukuru Mountain below for a while.

Gojo Satoru walked over and stood beside him.

Tired?

I'm fine," Tu Bai said, pausing for a moment, "just a little sleepy.

Then get some sleep for a while," Gojo Satoru said. "I'll wake you when we arrive.

Tu Bai nodded and walked over to the nearby Sofa to sit down. It was very comfortable inside the Airship, much better than those wretched places in Meteor City.

He leaned back there, his eyelids growing heavier and heavier.

Gojo Satoru walked over and covered him with a Jacket.

Choso opened his eyes dizzily and glanced at him.

"Senpai," he said softly.

Hmm?

.. Thank you.

Gojo Satoru was stunned, then he laughed.

There is nothing to thank.

Tu Bai said nothing and closed his eyes again.

Gojo Satoru sat down beside him, watching his sleeping face.

After a while, Tu Bai spoke again, his voice very soft, as if he were talking in his sleep:

Before.. I actually wanted to run.

Gojo Satoru did not move.

I've prepared for a long time. Money, False Identity, routes.. everything is ready.

Tu Bai closed his eyes and continued speaking:

In the end, we still didn't escape.

Gojo Satoru fell silent for a few seconds.

Do you still want to run now?

Tu Bai did not answer.

A long time passed, so long that Gojo Satoru thought he had fallen asleep, before he finally heard a very faint voice:

.. I don't know.

Gojo Satoru looked at him.

Moonlight shone in from outside the window, falling upon Tu Bai's face. That face was very peaceful, his brows slightly furrowed, as if he were having a dream.

Gojo Satoru reached out, gently smoothing his brow.

Then take your time thinking about it," he said. "There's no rush.

Tu Bai said no more. His breathing gradually steadied, he truly fell asleep.

Gojo Satoru sat beside him, watching him the whole time.

The Airship continued to fly forward.

Outside the window, the stars twinkled.

In the distance, somewhere in the Republic of Batorchia, That Mirror was waiting for them.

And behind them, Killua Zoldyck lay by another Window, curiously watching the Night Sky outside.

Illumi stood in the shadow, his hollow eyes staring in the direction of Tu Bai and Gojo Satoru, lost in thought.

Chapter 46

The airship circled over the Mountains of the Republic of Batorchia for two days.
