Chapter 104(1 / 1)

Tu Bai glared at him for two seconds before burying his face back in.

His ears turned bright red.

Gojo Satoru let out a laugh and held him tightly.

Alright," he said. "We'll discuss the details of the plan tomorrow. For now, let me hold you for a while.

Tu Bai nodded.

The two of them nestled together on the Sofa, the TV still on, with bursts of laughter from a Variety Show.

But Tu Bai was already sleepy.

He leaned against Gojo Satoru's chest, listening to his heartbeat, steady, beat after beat.

As he was drifting off into a daze, he suddenly remembered something.

"Senpai," he said indistinctly.

Hmm?

That person isn't really your friend, is he?

Gojo Satoru's hand gently stroked his back.

No," he said, his voice very soft, "He is just using Geto Suguru's appearance.

Tu Bai fell silent for a few seconds.

Then we'll catch him," he said. "Drive him out of your friend's body.

Gojo Satoru said nothing.

After a while, he lowered his head and kissed the top of Tu Bai's White Hair.

"Okay," he said.

Tu Bai curled the corners of his mouth and fell into a deep sleep.

---

Day 2 Morning, Tu Bai was woken up by the vibration of his Mobile Phone.

He opened his eyes and found that he had been moved to the bed at some unknown time. Gojo Satoru was not beside him, but the pillow still held his warmth.

The Mobile Phone was still vibrating.

He picked it up to look; it was a Message from Tu Bao:

Er Bao, what big things are you planning? If you need help, just let me know.

Tu Bai was stunned.

When did he ever tell Tu Bao about the plan?

Scrolling up through the Chat Log, he discovered that before going to sleep last night, he had sent a Message to Tu Bao in a daze:

Brother, I'm going to do something big.

And then there was no further word.

Tu Bai: ".."

He covered his face.

Tu Bao sent another message:

It couldn't be related to that white-haired man, could it? Don't do anything foolish.

Tu Bai replied:

It's fine. Don't worry.

Tu Bao replied instantly:

How is it possible not to be worried! What exactly are you trying to do?

Tu Bai thought for a moment and typed:

[Catching a bad guy. With Senpai around, nothing will go wrong.]

Tu Bao was silent for a few seconds on the other end.

Then, a long string of messages was sent:

[Are you sure? Is that white-haired man reliable? If he dares to let you get hurt, I'll be the first one to show him no mercy! Remember to take care of yourself; if anything happens, you must run immediately, don't try to endure it alone—]

Tu Bai looked at that long string of messages and smiled.

He replied with a Rabbit Nodding emoji, then put down his Mobile Phone.

The Bedroom Door pushed open.

Gojo Satoru walked in, carrying a cup and a plate in his hands. On the plate was toasted toast, with a fried egg beside it, although it was a bit burnt.

“Awake?” He placed the items on the nightstand and sat by the bedside.

Tu Bai nodded, sat up, took the Cup. It was Warm Milk.

He took a sip; it was warm.

About what we discussed last night," Gojo Satoru spoke, "I've given it some thought.

Tu Bai looked up at him.

Gojo Satoru's expression was much more serious than it had been last night.

We can proceed according to your plan," he said. "But we must be prepared first. I will set up Barriers and traps to ensure everything is foolproof before we act.

Tu Bai nodded.

And one more thing," Gojo Satoru continued, "if any accidents occur during the plan, you must retreat immediately. Do not hesitate.

Tu Bai nodded again.

Gojo Satoru looked at him and reached out to rub his hair.

Remember what you said," he said, "Don't act recklessly.

Tu Bai curved his eyes: "Understood."

Gojo Satoru looked at his smiling expression, feeling somewhat uneasy.

But he said nothing more.

He stood up, walked to the window, pulled the curtain aside slightly to look outside.

Sunlight streamed in, casting a warm yellow patch across the floor.

"Then start the preparation today," he said.

Tu Bai was holding the milk, looking at his back.

Sunlight fell upon that man, dyeing his White Hair Light Gold.

He suddenly felt that, whether the Plan was a Success or not, with this person around, he had Nothing to fear.

"Senpai," he called out.

Gojo Satoru turned back.

Tu Bai smiled at him.

We will succeed.

Gojo Satoru was stunned, then he smiled as well.

That's right," he said. "I am the Strongest.

Tu Bai buried his face in the Pillow and said nothing.

But the corners of his mouth curled upward, they never went down.

Chapter 57

On Day 5 after the Plan began, Tu Bai finally felt that gaze.

It wasn't ordinary stalking, but that sensation of being watched by something, a feeling that was there one moment and gone the next. He would walk down the street and occasionally turn back, but saw nothing. Yet, his intuition told him—something was watching him.

He told Gojo Satoru about this.

After listening, Gojo Satoru nodded: "Follow the Plan."

So today, Tu Bai came to this Abandoned Warehouse Area alone.

He chose the location himself. In the Tokyo Suburbs, it had been abandoned for several years; there were few people around, rusted sheet metal and collapsed Cement Walls were everywhere. Grass grew all over the Floor, making a rustling sound when stepped upon.

It is a perfect place for an ambush.

It is also very suitable for being ambushed.

Tu Bai stood in an Open Space, looking left and right.

In the shadows of the warehouse, something lay hidden. As the wind blew, the rusted sheet metal creaked.

He released a bit of his Demon Power.

Not a full release, just a slight release of aura, like a Rabbit that had accidentally lost its way, wandering aimlessly in a Dangerous Place.

Then he began to walk slowly, as if he were just strolling, but in reality, he was waiting.

Gojo Satoru is in the shadows. He cannot see, but he knows.

This made him feel at ease.

After walking for about five minutes, that feeling of being watched suddenly intensified.

Tu Bai stopped in his tracks and turned back.

Nothing.

But he knows, something is coming.

The concentration of Cursed Energy in the air was rising, becoming so thick it was uncomfortable. Tu Bai clenched his fist, his Construction Technique ready to be activated at any moment.
