Chapter 678(1 / 1)

Hinata let out a gasp and lightly tapped his palm: "Then we really can't waste any time! Oikawa-senpai, hurry!"

He hurriedly asked, "Then when will Oikawa-senpai be coming tomorrow? I want to get Oikawa's autograph."

Hearing this, Oikawa Tooru glanced back at Miya Atsumu, whose face was extremely dark, his footsteps faltered slightly.

“But then again.”

He lifted his hand to take off the sunglasses on his face, lightly adjusting the bangs over his forehead. "I have time to give you an autograph now. Where do you want it? Should I sign your clothes again?"

Hinata froze for a moment, then said with a face full of pleasant surprise, "It's wonderful that you have time, Oikawa-senpai!"

“Giant-senpai is collecting autographs, I'm helping him. Oikawa-senpai, just sign in this notebook!”

Shoving the notebook toward Oikawa Tooru, Hinata quickly turned back toward Miya Atsumu's side and grabbed a pile of signing pens. "You can pick any color, Senpai."

Looking at the blank page, Oikawa Tooru turned and asked, "Can I see the previous ones?"

Hinata agreed readily, "Sure!"

Oikawa Tooru flipped through the pages quickly, scanning the signatures, his lips curled into a smirk when he finally saw Miya Atsumu's golden signature and Hoshiumi's flashy one below it.

Picking up the gold-colored pen from Hinata's hand, Oikawa Tooru left his name on the paper in a sweeping, freehand style.

Under Miya Atsumu's gaze, Oikawa Tooru turned his head toward Kito. "Alright, Kito-senpai, are you here to get an autograph too?"

"Okay." Kito took the pen, preparing to sign right below Oikawa Tooru.

Just as he was about to sign, Miya Atsumu cut in, "Hold on a second, senpai."

He walked straight over, flipped a page in the notebook, said, "Kito-senpai, sign here."

"Huh?" Kito was a bit confused.

Miya Atsumu gave a reasonable explanation: "Kito-senpai is the strongest current setter in the country; we have to collect his autograph separately."

Kito blinked. Although he didn't care about this, Miya Atsumu was so insistent that he could only agree, signing his name on a blank page at the back.

While Kito was signing, Oikawa secretly reached behind the fire hydrant mirror to lift a corner of his hat and check his hairstyle for the day.

Realizing it had been completely crushed, he hurriedly pulled his hat back down, turned around, said as if nothing had happened, "It's getting late, we'll be heading off now."

Kito also nodded. "Hinata, Miya, goodbye. We'll come to watch your match tomorrow."

Hinata cheered as he helped Unai get two authentic professional player signatures, then jumped up to say goodbye to the two of them: "Goodbye, Oikawa-senpai! Goodbye, Kito-senpai!"

Just then, a tearing sound rang out from behind.

Hinata turned around and found that Miya Atsumu had torn a piece of paper.

“Atsumu-ge?” He was stunned.

Miya Atsumu's face broke into a smile. "It's nothing, it's just some unsightly insect marks on it, don't worry about it."

Hinata remained silent for two seconds before rushing forward and jumping to snatch the paper that had already been crumpled into a ball by Miya Atsumu.

Upon opening it, it was indeed Oikawa's signature from just now.

He looked up at Miya Atsumu, who had averted his gaze. "Atsumu-ge, you're really childish."

Hinata's voice carried an accusation: "This isn't for me, it's for Giant-senpai.."

He decided on the spot: "I'll just ask Oikawa-senpai to sign a few more later."

Miya Atsumu felt like his world was collapsing.

If he could do it all over again, Miya Atsumu certainly wouldn't have torn up Oikawa Tooru's signature, because he would have stopped Hinata from asking Unai for his signature from the very beginning.

But now that the damage was done, he had to do something to salvage his image..

Seeing that this signature was already ruined, Hinata simply shoved it back to Miya Atsumu.

After staring at Oikawa Tooru's crumpled signature for a long time, Miya Atsumu finally realized why the signature looked so wrong to him.

Oikawa joined during the V League Finals this spring, more than half a year has passed since then. Although he didn't travel abroad with the National Team during that time, he has been present for almost every professional match held domestically.

He had already participated in many fan meetings, his skills with autographs and such had become completely polished; in terms of aesthetic appeal, they were much better than his.

No, this won't do.

Miya Atsumu once again crumpled Oikawa Tooru's autograph into a ball and threw it directly into the trash can not far away.

He decided then; once he got back, he would practice his signature properly. He absolutely could not lose to anyone else!

Hinata mourned the signature in the trash can for two seconds before turning to ask, "Is Atsumu-ge going to keep signing? The rainbow one."

Anyway, he had already decided that he would be the one holding this magazine from now on, he wouldn't let Miya Atsumu touch it even once.

After all, he didn't want to see Unai's booklet end up being torn by Miya Atsumu until only a few pitiful pages remained.

Miya Atsumu waved his hand dismissively. "No more autographs, let's talk about it later."

If you're going to sign, you have to sign the best!

He pushed Hinata forward. "Come on, let's go over to the Shiratorizawa side. Weren't you looking for Ushijima-senpai?"

Hinata raised a hand. "Yeah! Let's go!"

The two of them walked forward for five or six meters before Miya Atsumu suddenly came to a halt.

Wait, the two of us went the wrong way.

In the Shiratorizawa locker room, the newly arrived Ushijima Wakatoshi was being introduced to everyone by Shirabu and Goshiki.

Among the first-year players, except for Yura Shota, none had actually met Ushijima Wakatoshi face-to-face.

When shaking hands to greet Ushijima Wakatoshi, several first-year substitutes were so terrified they didn't even dare to breathe heavily.

Ushijima Wakatoshi did his best to comfort everyone, saying, "Don't be nervous, today's match was played brilliantly."

Kawanishi seized the opportunity to say, "None of them even played, Ushijima-senpai."

Coach Saito couldn't help but burst into laughter.

Ushijima Wakatoshi remained silent for two seconds before saying, "Good luck."

Goshiki Tsutomu stared at Ushijima Wakatoshi, his eyes burning with intense passion.

Shirabu gave him a brief glance and said nothing.

If it had been last year, he really should have said that Goshiki Tsutomu's desire to challenge Ushijima Wakatoshi's authority was nothing but a delusion. But now..

"Goshiki, you worked hard in today's match," Ushijima Wakatoshi praised him earnestly.

After a brief pause, Ushijima Wakatoshi recalled his previous conversations with Amatori and Iizuna, before turning to say, "You played very gallantly; you truly have the bearing of an Ace."

Goshiki, who was just about to say something, suddenly took a step back, his face flushing instantly, he instinctively opened his mouth.

In the silent locker room, Goshiki Tsutomu hurriedly steadied himself, stood at attention, shouted loudly, "Yes! I will definitely become an Ace even greater than Ushijima-senpai!"

Ushijima Wakatoshi reached out his hand and patted Goshiki Tsutomu on the shoulder. "Good luck."

Goshiki Tsutomu responded again, "Yes!"

Footsteps sounded from outside the door. Hearing the noise, Coach Washijo, who was near the entrance, turned around, a second later, the sound of knocking rang out.

“Hello, I'm Hinata from Inarizaki. I've come to say hello to Coach Washijo and the seniors.”

Coach Saito reached out and opened the door for Hinata.

Hinata poked his head in, looking around at everyone in the rest area.

The dressing room at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium had not been renovated, so it was relatively small, but it was more than enough to accommodate a volleyball team or a basketball team.

But if a few more people joined them.. it would get a bit crowded.

Seeing Hinata, Shirabu froze for a moment. "Hinata?"

Yanagita, who was standing closer, clenched his fist. "The winners just walk in here so brazenly; aren't they afraid of being buried by us?"

Hinata shrugged his shoulders and shrank his neck: "Are.. are you going to bury me?"

Coach Washijo glared at Yanagita, then waved his hand, signaling Hinata to come in.

Miya Atsumu was by the wall on the other side of the door, having no intention of coming inside at all.

They had originally headed toward the Shiratorizawa cheering area, but the person in charge of cheering told them that the members of the Volleyball Club had not arrived and were likely still having a meeting in the lounge.

He had originally intended to go to Itachiyama with Hinata since it wasn't far away, but Hinata was afraid that Ushijima Wakatoshi might leave, so he insisted on coming to the Shiratorizawa rest area.

Miya Atsumu, having locked eyes with Coach Washijo for a brief moment, silently withdrew his gaze. He turned his back to the Shiratorizawa locker room and quickly took two steps, moving out of the sight of the people inside.

Accompanying Hinata was enough; he had no interest in going inside to exchange pleasantries with the people from Shiratorizawa!

Especially..

For some reason, he always felt that Coach Washijo was looking at him with increasing disapproval; during previous matches, he would often cast dangerous glares at him, making his scalp tingle.

He felt like he hadn't done anything particularly bad!

With a bang, the door to the Shiratorizawa locker room slammed shut; Hinata had gone inside.

Miya Atsumu pretended not to hear. He looked around for a moment before sitting down on a chair next to the vending machine, preparing to wait for Hinata to come out.

Since Coach Washijo was there, the Shiratorizawa people certainly wouldn't bury Hinata, so it didn't matter anymore.

After greeting the coaches, Hinata raised his hand to greet Ushijima Wakatoshi: "Hello, Ushijima-senpai!"

Ushijima nodded to him: "Hello."

Seeing that everyone was present and hadn't even changed their clothes yet, Hinata raised a hand to scratch his head. "Um.. are you having a meeting? Should I come back later?"

Coach Washijo stood with his hands behind his back, looking at Hinata. "What are you here for?"

I came to get autographs from Ushijima-senpai and Akari!

Hinata showed Coach Washijo the notebook in his hands, which was already filled with many signatures, specifically the page belonging to Iizuna and Sakusa and the others.

Coach Washijo took a glance and said irritably, "You only came over after visiting Itachiyama?"

Hinata gave a cheeky grin. "It was on the way."

He leaned in close to Coach Washijo and asked with a hint of sycophancy, "Is it okay?"
