Chapter 95(1 / 1)

He could no longer just sit by and watch.

Colt set his sights on the Watchtower's Universe Shuttle.

The day after tomorrow is Bruce's birthday, both Timothy and Bruce are going back to Wayne Manor. Colt decided that during the birthday banquet, he would hack into the Justice League's computers to gather intelligence on parallel universes. Regardless of whether there are records of the Lord World, he intended to go to the Watchtower to scan a Universe Shuttle so he could build one for himself when he returned.

Sometimes plans can't keep up with changes.

At six in the morning, well before his usual wake-up time, Timothy was jolted awake by the sound of an alarm.

Wake up, Colt.

Colt pulled out his Hearing Aid and put it on. "What's wrong?"

Watchtower emergency notification: enemies from a parallel universe are attacking. The enemies have broken through the defenses of Flash and Green Lantern and are heading toward Gotham." Timothy ran toward the basement. "Their target should be Batman. Get the Knowledge Explorer ready; you might need it.

"Which parallel universe? Who are the enemies?" Colt sat up abruptly and began dressing quickly.

An entire fallen Justice League, including Superman.

Timothy changed into his Red Robin uniform, adjusted his belt, took the Kryptonite blade from the safe.

Colt had already taken the Knowledge Explorer out of the Golden Book and was busy loading weapon systems and checking whether all components were functioning normally.

He glanced at his own basement, feeling fortunate that Joseph was on a business trip in Germany.

Colt instructed Birdie to stay at home and watch TV instead of going out, watching Red Robin ride away on a motorcycle. He did not stay in place to wait for summoning instructions, but instead piloted his Leap Mech to fly toward the high skies of Metropolis.

High above Metropolis, two Supermen were fighting.

The Superman of this world was being beaten down by the outsider Superman, his red cape burned into a pockmarked mess by Heat Vision, while the other's white cape remained as clean as snow.

White Superman?

Colt doubted he was dreaming.

The battle in the high sky was in full swing. The Batwing attempted to lure Superman away from the city, but its wings were nearly frozen by freeze breath, Kryptonite bullets enraged Superman. He charged toward Gotham, recklessly using Heat Vision to slice through skyscrapers and sever the bridge connecting Gotham to Metropolis.

Red Robin's motorcycle soared through the air, narrowly dodging the Heat Vision, as he looked back at the vehicles sliding into the sea and shouted loudly, "Ghost!"

The massive 23-meter-tall Leap Mech broke free from the Ghost force field and appeared beside the bridge. The Leap Mech grabbed the falling vehicle, gently set it back onto the bridge, then extended both hands to act as bridge piers, supporting the broken section of the bridge.

"This bridge was funded by Wayne!" Red Robin shouted.

Colt understood the meaning of those words.

What belongs to Wayne belongs to Timothy, what belongs to Timothy belongs to him.

Spiritual Power wrapped around the bridge, controlling the molecules at the cracks to fuse them together. The broken bridge was restored to its original state, the evacuated vehicles sped across it.

The battle in the sky had already reached a fever pitch, Batman ordered Red Robin to go back and evacuate the crowds.

"Batman! The civilians have nowhere to retreat, Gotham is their target too!" Red Robin used his motorcycle to block the Heat Vision shooting toward the skyscraper, the red light crashing against the white light of the Shield Protector.

At the same time, the silent Knowledge Explorer vanished from his spot and reappeared behind White Superman, striking him toward the sky above the open ocean.

Colt pulled the Leap Mech back into the Ghost field, attempting to use the same old trick to launch a surprise attack on Bai Chao, but Bai Chao turned and threw a punch at the cockpit the moment the Leap Mech flashed into existence.

The Shield Protector shimmered with flowing light, blocking the super strength, but the Leap Mech was sent flying high into the sky.

Super speed is a cheat code; Bai Chao became wary and would not give Colt a second chance to launch a sneak attack.

Colt gave up on the close-quarters combat he was not good at and raised his Ray Gun.

Although Bai Chao's evasion skills were perfect, Colt couldn't hit him even when aiming, but he successfully blocked Bai Chao in the high seas, allowing the superheroes of this world to catch up.

Superman continued to face Superman.

The Vibranium motorcycle sped low to the ground as it approached, Red Robin made a hand gesture: "Ghost!"

The Leap Mech reached out and grabbed the motorcycle, pulling the person and the vehicle into the Ghost field along with the mech, then opened the cockpit.

Red Robin jumped into the cockpit.

Colt put the Vibranium motorcycle into the Golden Book, gave up the driver's seat, reached for Red Robin's waist bag.

Give me the Kryptonite blade.

"Wait, Batman said that Superman has absorbed fifty years of yellow sunlight, his power is capable of affecting the Five-Dimensional World. Your Ghost field isn't omnipotent!" Red Robin utilized the advantage of the stealth Leap Mech to interfere with the enemy, coordinating with this world's Superman.

The massive thing that seemed clumsy in Colt's hands became incredibly agile in Red Robin's hands, with every ray and every energy blast landing exactly where it needed to.

"I think I can do this," Colt said, clutching the Kryptonite blade in his hand. While reciting the relevant chemical formulas, he sped out of the Leap Mech on his skateboard.

[Knowledge Explorer] broke free from the Ghost force field and reappeared in reality.

Red Robin watched Colt flying back and forth, passing through Bai Chao's body several times, but because Bai Chao was moving too fast, he couldn't find an opportunity to strike. He chose to interfere with Bai Chao in close combat while simultaneously speaking in the Justice League's mission channel.

This is Red Robin. Ghost has a way to deliver Kryptonite into the enemy's body, but he needs the target to stop moving for thirty seconds.

"Who is Ghost? Why is Red Robin in our channel!" Green Lantern shouted in the channel.

Fine," Batman said, "Superman, Plan B.

Superman didn't answer; he simply smashed through the frozen sea surface, grabbed Bai Chao by the neck from behind, roared, "What exactly are you trying to do?"

I can hear your plans." Bai Chao shook off his counterpart. "You are just as foolish as your counterpart from the main universe, your Batman is even more naive; not every Superman stops to chat when questioned.

In the next second, Bai Chao suddenly showed a look of pain, clutching his chest as he fell, landing perfectly in the palm of the Leap Mech waiting below.

".. No.. thirty seconds.." It hadn't even been three seconds!

Bai Chao coughed heavily, the blood seeping from the corner of his mouth the color of Kryptonite.

"I just like to leave some room for error in my plans," Red Robin smiled gently, kissing the victorious Colt.

To avoid hurting our Superman, I melted the Kryptonite into his blood," Colt said, returning the slightly smaller piece of Kryptonite to Red Robin. "His heart can only handle this much Kryptonite for now; once he develops some resistance, we can gradually increase the dosage.

..

There was more than one invading enemy; as the group flew back to Metropolis, they happened to see Iron Man being struck by Black Adam's magical lightning.

"Red Robin!" Colt cried out.

"Understood." Red Robin tossed Bai Chao into the Batwing and rushed toward Iron Man.

Superman interrupted Black Adam's spellcasting, the Knowledge Explorer also caught Iron Man.

"Edwin, is Tony alright?" Colt asked Smart.

"He is conscious, but his heart rate is too fast and his blood pressure is a bit high," Smart replied.

Without Thor's lightning stimulation, I feel wonderful. Oh, kid, this isn't the kind of battlefield you should be on." Iron Man looked at the Leap Mech, which was as tall as a seven-story building, muttered, "Alright, big guy, let go of your hands.

Chapter 60

The battle lasted less than two hours, all the enemies were captured, but the rescue operations continued until the afternoon.

The silent Knowledge Explorer participated in the search and rescue. Colt's Spiritual Power scan was more precise than a life detector and was unaffected by lead layers, making it a true divine tool for search and rescue.

The Metropolis branch of Wayne Corporation was also turned into a dilapidated building during this attack. Fortunately, it wasn't quite time for work yet, so only a few employees on duty were injured. The injured employees were actually quite happy, because Wayne Corporation had purchased Vigilante Forum insurance for every employee. If injured due to superhero combat, they could receive free medical treatment and compensation. Furthermore, the reimbursement for medical expenses was more lenient than other medical insurance; they could even get a few teeth fixed or have old injuries treated without being rejected.

Colt adhered to the principle that "what is Wayne's is Timothy's, what is Timothy's is his," straightening the Metropolis branch of Wayne Corporation, reconnecting the severed steel bars, repairing the cracks.

He couldn't do anything about other places.

As the search and rescue mission drew to a close, Red Robin climbed into the Leap Mech cockpit and fed Colt Spiritual Power supplements.

"Why can't I touch it?" Colt was already certain that the concept of "mine" simply didn't exist. He thought he could do more, but the things his Spiritual Power could touch were still very few, let alone being able to interfere with or control them.

This makes no sense.

Needless to say, Bruce Wayne is the big boss of the Daily Planet. According to the principle that "what belongs to Wayne belongs to Timothy, what belongs to Timothy belongs to him," Colt's Spiritual Power should theoretically be able to interfere with the Daily Planet building, but when his Spiritual Power swept across it, he touched nothing. The same applies to the Superman Apartments that Bruce purchased.

"Because you can't convince yourself. Once Timothy Drake completes his power grab, the result might be different." Red Robin spoke in the third person, as if Drake, who wanted to seize the throne of Wayne ahead of schedule, wasn't him.

The two of them whispered to each other at the edge of the battlefield.

In the eyes of others, a massive Leap Mech stood silently in the crater, its head bowed as it stared at its broken arm. A crack in the mech's neck even revealed a few wires, making it look both foolish and pathetic.

Iron Man hovered in front of the Leap Mech, leaning closer to the cockpit.

Hey, kid, do you need Professor Stark to provide a workshop for repairing that big guy?

"Thanks, Tony, I think I'm doing alright." The mountain-like giant steel beast emitted a very young, clear voice, creating a strong sense of contrast.

Iron Man nodded and praised, "Your new voice sounds quite good; you can't hear the mechanical quality at all."

"Red Robin helped me tune it." The Leap Mech stood at attention obediently.

Iron Man felt as if he had just bitten into a lemon; fortunately, his contorted expression was hidden behind his helmet where no one could see it. He waved his hand and turned to leave, only to see Spider-Man rushing toward him from the end of the road on a bicycle.

Hi, Mr. Stark! I have an exam today, so I'll head out after I finish. Is it already over?

Spider-Man shouted from afar as the bicycle plunged into a deep pit amidst a cloud of rolling dust and smoke.

He didn't fall, neither did the bike.

Sorry, excuse me." Spider-Man carried the bicycle on his shoulder, landed on top of the Leap Mech's head, then jumped onto its shoulders. He used his hands to force the cracked metal plates on the Leap Mech's neck back into place, while muttering, "You look really cool, big guy! I'm your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man from New York. Can I get your name? Whoa, your skin is so tough, it'd be perfect for a spacecraft. Can it withstand meteorites? My God, your arm is so heavy, is this wiring a biological nervous system..

Spider-Man hung the bicycle around his neck and used both hands with great force to pull up the severed arm of the Leap Mech from the ground, working hard to align the broken ends before covering them with a thick layer of Webbing.

Iron Man rolled his eyes and flew off into the sky.

"The [Knowledge Explorer] uses a bionic human nervous system, the mech's outer shell is also made of aerospace metal. Thanks for your help, Spider-Man. I am Ghost. Are the glasses still working well?" Colt greeted Spider-Man.

Whoa, Ghost, are you actually Superman's Kryptonian Smart? I thought you were from Gotham.. uh, I once heard Mr. Stark complaining that Batman restricted you from New York." Spider-Man's eyes widened in surprise. "Sorry, my glasses got smashed in Hell's Kitchen. I fixed them up, they still work great, they've just become a bit ugly.

I was in Gotham, but Batman didn't restrict me." Colt raised the intact hand of his Leap Mech, lifting Spider-Man from his shoulder and setting him gently down outside the pit. "I have some new ideas; are you willing to keep testing them?

"Of course!" Spider-Man cheered.

The cockpit suddenly opened, Red Robin stepped out from within.

Red, Red Robin! Ghost, you're actually Red Robin!" Spider-Man shouted, pointing at Red Robin. "When I was on a mission with Beacon last time, I thought Red Robin's plans were too detailed to have been written by a human. So you're an android!

Red Robin parkoured across the Leap Mech, leaping lightly down the arm, gave Spider-Man a calm nod, introducing himself serenely, "Hello, I am Red Robin, Ghost's boyfriend. It's a pleasure to meet you, Spider-Man."

Spider-Man looked at the hand extended before him, then at the massive Leap Mech.

Colt replied cheerfully, "That's right, I'm in love with Red Robin."

Spider-Man looked at the Leap Mech, then at the smiling Red Robin, his eyes widening. He froze for two seconds before grabbing Red Robin with both hands and shaking him earnestly, "Hello, Red Robin, I wish you both happiness."

Red Robin said happily, "Thank you. When we get married, we'll definitely send you an invitation."
