Chapter 63(1 / 1)

The leader cursed and waved his hand, ordering his men to charge forward.

And then there was nothing more.

More than thirty people were there; over twenty lay dead, the rest fled. That man didn't have a single wound on his body; there was only a bit of blood on his blade, which he flicked away casually.

From then on, no one dared to provoke him again.

He carved out a territory for himself; it wasn't large, but it was enough for him to live in. Using that ability to manifest things out of thin air, he conjured up a relatively clean small hut, some drinkable water, even a bed and a few sets of clothes to change into.

Some people wanted to seek his protection. He took a few looks, choosing two people to stay behind to help him handle those annoying trivial matters.

Others who wanted to approach his territory had to pay a "protection fee" first—it wasn't much, but it was enough to ensure he didn't have to go out and scavenge through trash every day.

His subordinate asked him how he should address him.

He thought for a moment and said, "Rabbit King."

What Rabbit King?

He pointed to the Rabbit Ears on top of his head: "Rabbit King."

And so, in District 3 of Meteor City, a new power emerged, known as the "Rabbit King."

---

Late at night.

Tu Bai sat upon the "throne" he had constructed—which was actually just a relatively comfortable chair with several layers of cushions. He placed his hand on his abdomen, stroking it gently.

That warmth was still there, very stable. He had used Demon Power to check many times over these past few days, it had been growing steadily; it was his Baby. He had to provide Protection for him.

Outside the window was the night view of Meteor City. Calling it a night view was a stretch; there was actually nothing much to see, only a few piles of trash burning in the distance, their flickering light illuminating the silhouettes of thick smoke.

Tu Bai stared at those flames, dazing off for a while.

These past few days, he has occasionally had some strange dreams.

In his dreams, there was a white-haired person. He was very tall, with Ice Blue Eyes that were incredibly beautiful. That man was always smiling, a very annoying smile, but it also made one..

Makes one what?

He couldn't remember. Every time he woke up, those dreams would dissipate like mist, leaving behind only a faint feeling—warmth, peace, a hint of an indescribable bitterness.

He touched his abdomen.

“Do you know that person?” he asked softly.

There was no answer. Only that warm Light Orb shifted slightly, as if in response.

Tu Bai leaned against the chair back and closed his eyes.

It doesn't matter if they don't know each other. Anyway, he has Baby now. As long as Baby is here, nothing else matters.

But for some reason, whenever he thought like that, he always felt a slight sense of emptiness in his heart.

It was as if something very important was missing.

The firelight outside the window was still flickering.

Tu Bai curled up in the chair, his hands guarding his abdomen, slowly fell asleep.

In his dream, a White Hair person stood far away, watching him with a smile.

He wanted to walk closer, but no matter how he tried, he could not reach him.

That person said something, but he couldn't hear him.

But he knew that person's lips were moving, saying:

“Xiao Bai.”

Chapter 37

When Gojo Satoru opened his eyes, he found himself lying face down on a patch of grass.

Face down.

He propped himself up and sat up, first feeling his own face.

It didn't hurt anymore, but the feeling of that kick remained—Xiao Bai's kick had been solid, landing right on his face. He touched the bridge of his nose and then his cheek, confirming that his facial features were still in place.

Then he looked up and scanned his surroundings.

This should be halfway up a mountain; it is surrounded by lush, verdant trees, there appear to be buildings near the summit.

Gojo Satoru stood up and brushed the grass flakes off his body. He tried to activate his Six Eyes to analyze the surrounding environment.

Then he frowned.

The energy systems are different. It is completely different from the Cursed Energy he is familiar with. Another kind of power flows through the air—more primal, more individualized, as if it were something unique to each person.

But the Limitless Cursed Technique still worked. He tested it, both Blue and Red could be activated normally, it was just.. it felt a bit sluggish, like a Mobile Phone in a place with a poor Signal.

He withdrew his Cursed Technique and looked down at himself.

His clothes were still there, the black Jujutsu High Uniform, but they were stained with a bit of mud and grass leaves. His blindfold.. was gone. He didn't know where it had fallen.

He felt his pockets, but his Mobile Phone was gone too. He had likely lost it during the Transmigration.

Gojo Satoru sighed and began walking up the mountain.

Regardless, he would first find a place to figure out what kind of strange place this was, then find Xiao Bai.

He touched his cheek—thinking to himself: Xiao Bai, that was a really hard kick.

The corners of his mouth curled upward, but quickly flattened again.

I have to find him quickly. That Idiot, carrying a Child all by himself in this Strange Place, who knows what might happen.

Gojo Satoru quickened his pace and headed up the mountain.

He hadn't gone far before he was intercepted.

Two men in black suits emerged from the bushes, their movements fast and almost silent. They stared at Gojo Satoru with wary eyes, their hands resting on the weapons at their waists.

Stop," one of them said. "This is private property. Entry is not permitted.

Gojo Satoru stopped in his tracks, sizing them up.

Well-trained. Skilled. And.. there is a fluctuation of that special Energy on them.

He smiled and raised his hands: "Sorry, sorry, I didn't know. I am.. well, lost."

Those two men stared at him, their gazes sweeping across his face. Suddenly, the expression in one of their eyes changed.

Your hair..

Gojo Satoru froze for a moment, then quickly reacted.

White hair. These two were staring at his white hair.

And the Eyes.." the other one spoke up as well, his voice trembling slightly, "Blue..

They looked at each other, their expressions becoming complicated—surprise, confusion, a hint of.. awe?

"Please wait a moment," the First person said, taking out something like a walkie-talkie and walking to one side to say a few words in a low voice.

Gojo Satoru stood in place, his ears twitching. He heard that man say, "Suspect discovered.. silver hair and blue eyes.. yes, very similar.. awaiting instructions."

He raised an eyebrow.

Silver Hair and blue eyes? Are the people here sensitive to silver hair and blue eyes?

After a while, that man walked back, his attitude clearly changed and much more polite: "Please follow us. The Head wishes to see you."

Gojo Satoru thought for a moment, then nodded. "Sure."

Anyway, he was looking for someone, having someone to receive him was better than wandering around aimlessly on his own.

He followed those two men up the mountain. After passing through the forest and winding around several mountain ridges, the view suddenly opened up before his eyes.

A Giant Gate.

Incorrect, it is Seven Gates. Giant Iron Gates, each one larger than the last; the outermost one is twice as tall as a normal house door. The gates are engraved with complex Patterns and look very heavy.

Those two men walked to the gate and pushed open a small Side Door nearby.

"Please go this way," one of them said.

Gojo Satoru looked at those Seven Gates, then looked at the Side Door, smiled.

"Not taking the Main Gate?" he asked.

Those two men froze for a moment, unable to react.

Gojo Satoru walked up to the largest gate and reached out to push it.

It was indeed heavy, but it was only heavy.

He applied a little force.

The first door opened.

He continued to push. The second, the third, the fourth—

The eyes of those two men widened further.

The fifth door, the sixth door—

Gojo Satoru stopped and looked at the innermost door. The Seventh Gate.

He smiled and withdrew his hand.

Forget it, let's stop here for today," he said, turning toward the Side Door. "We can go this way instead.

Those two men stood in place, as if they were nailed there.

It took several seconds before they caught up, the look in their eyes toward Gojo Satoru had completely changed.

Zoldyck Estate, Living Room.

Silva Zoldyck sat in the head seat, sizing up the man standing before him.
