Chapter 64(1 / 1)

Silver Hair. Blue Eyes. Tall. Young. And.. incredibly strong.

The Guard's report has just been sent up. This man opened the Six Trial Gates all by himself. Six gates. In the entire Zoldyck Family, no more than five people are capable of doing this.

And his face..

Silva's gaze lingered on that face for a few seconds. Silver hair, blue eyes, the contours of the facial features.. there was indeed a certain resemblance to the Zoldyck Family.

A scream came from nearby.

Ah—!

Kikyo covered his mouth, his eyes wide and staring fixedly at Gojo Satoru. His voice was so sharp it could pierce eardrums:

Those Eyes! That hair! He must be.. he must be my father's illegitimate son!

Gojo Satoru's mouth twitched.

His father's illegitimate son?

He looked down at himself, then looked at Silva.

Silva's hair was also silver. His eyes were dark, but the shape of those eyes.. they did indeed seem to look a bit alike.

He suddenly understood.

These people mistook him for a stray bloodline of the Gojo Clan.

Gojo Satoru blinked, then revealed a brilliant smile.

Oh, you caught me," he said, his tone as casual as if he were talking about the weather. "Actually, I only found out about my origins recently myself. So, I came back specifically to take a look.

Kikyo's scream grew even louder: "I knew it! I knew it! This aura, this appearance—you're definitely a member of the Zoldyck Family!"

Silva glanced at him, she finally quieted down a bit.

Silva's gaze fell back upon Gojo Satoru, scrutinizing him.

You say you are of the Zoldyck Family bloodline," he said, his Voice low and steady, "What evidence do you have?

Gojo Satoru spread his hands. "None. I just look like this—silver hair and blue eyes. Otherwise, how would you have recognized me?"

Silva fell silent for a few seconds.

That.. seems irrefutable.

An old Voice came from the side:

Interesting.

A bald old man walked in through the Side Door, a cross-shaped scar on his face, wearing a Kimono. He walked up to Silva's side and sized up Gojo Satoru.

Zeno Zoldyck.

Gojo Satoru felt the aura emanating from this old man—it was powerful. Slightly more powerful than Silva's. It was the kind of strength that came from living many years and having killed countless people.

Zeno looked at him, narrowing his Eyes.

You pushed open the Six Trial Gates," he said. "Did you use your full strength?

Gojo Satoru thought for a moment and said honestly, "No."

Zeno Zoldyck's eyebrows twitched.

Can the Seventh Gate also be pushed open?

It should be possible.

Zeno Zoldyck stared at him for a few seconds, then laughed.

Interesting," he repeated. "Regardless of whether he has the Zoldyck bloodline, this level of strength makes him worth keeping around for a few days.

Silva nodded.

That's that, then," he said, looking toward Gojo Satoru. "You can stay with the Zoldyck Family for the time being. But don't wander off, don't cause any trouble.

Gojo Satoru nodded with a smile, "Alright, alright, thank you for taking me in."

Kikyo screamed again, "I'm going to arrange the best Room for him! I'm going to prepare new Clothes for him! I'm going to—"

"Kikyo," Silva said.

He fell silent.

Gojo Satoru stood in place, wearing a full smile.

But he was thinking of something else in his heart.

This family looks very powerful. They should be able to help him find Xiao Bai.

---

That night, Gojo Satoru moved into a guest room in the Zoldyck Family.

The room was large and clean, with a private Bathroom. He took a shower and changed into a clean set of Clothes—sent by Kikyo, who called them a "meeting gift for the new nephew."

Gojo Satoru stood before the window, looking out at the pitch-black Mountain Forest.

Where in this world would Xiao Bai be?

As he was thinking, the shoji was pushed open slightly, leaving a crack.

Gojo Satoru turned his head and saw a pair of Blue Eyes.

Then the door was pushed open, a silver-haired youth slipped in, looking him over curiously.

He looked about twelve or thirteen years old, with silver white spiky hair and blue eyes, his features as exquisite as a doll's. He was wearing loose loungewear, there were bandages on his hands.

Killua Zoldyck.

Gojo Satoru looked at him, he looked at Gojo Satoru.

Both had Silver Hair and Blue Eyes, standing before the Shoji; they truly looked like a pair of brothers.

Who are you?" Killua Zoldyck asked, tilting his head. "They said you are my uncle's illegitimate child?

Gojo Satoru laughed, "Is that what they said?"

Yeah." Killua Zoldyck walked in, came to a halt in front of him, looked up at him. "Did you really push open the Six Trial Gates?

I did.

Whoa.." Killua Zoldyck's Eyes lit up, "That's amazing. I can only push open three gates.

Gojo Satoru looked at him, suddenly feeling that this boy was quite interesting.

“What is your name?”

Killua, Killua Zoldyck.

I am Gojo Satoru." He sat down at the bedside and patted the space beside him, "Sit?

Killua Zoldyck hesitated for a moment, then sat down.

"Are you really a member of our family?" he asked, his Eyes shining.

Gojo Satoru thought for a moment. "I don't know. Maybe."

Then where did you live before?

A far-off place.

“What are you doing here?”

Gojo Satoru fell silent for a second, then said, "Looking for someone."

Who?

“A very important person.” He paused. “Black hair, Red Eyes, Rabbit Ears on his head. Have you seen him?”

Killua Zoldyck shook his head: "Never seen him. A person with Rabbit Ears? Sounds really strange."

Gojo Satoru smiled. "It is quite strange. But he is my.. well, someone very important to me."

Killua Zoldyck stared at him for a few seconds before suddenly asking, "Is he your wife?"

Gojo Satoru froze for a moment, then burst into laughter.

I suppose so.

Then how did you lose him?

.." Gojo Satoru's smile faded slightly. "It's a long story.

Killua Zoldyck didn't press further. He thought for a moment and said, "Then how do you plan to find them?"

Does your family have some kind of intelligence system?" Gojo Satoru asked, "The kind that can track people down.

Killua Zoldyck nodded, "Yeah. My second brother Mikuru is best at that. He spends all day hiding in his room in front of a Computer; he can find out anything."

Gojo Satoru's eyes lit up: "He can help me investigate?"

He can," Killua Zoldyck curled his lip. "But he's a lot of trouble; he won't work without something in return.

What kind of benefits?

Money? Or something rare?" Killua Zoldyck thought for a moment. "He really loves figurines, the limited edition kind, game consoles and stuff.

Gojo Satoru nodded, having an idea.

He stood up, walked over to Killua Zoldyck, leaned down, looked at him with a smile:

Killua Zoldyck, can you take me down the mountain tomorrow?

Killua Zoldyck froze for a moment. "What for, going down the mountain?"

To buy something," Gojo Satoru said. "To buy a figure for your second brother, also—" He paused. "To buy you something delicious.

Killua Zoldyck's Eyes lit up: "Something delicious?"

Dessert," Gojo Satoru said. "Cake, pudding, ice cream, chocolate. Do you want to try some?

Killua Zoldyck nodded vigorously.

It's a deal then," Gojo Satoru said, reaching out his hand. "You lead the way tomorrow, it's my treat.

Killua Zoldyck grasped his hand and shook it vigorously. "It's a deal!"
