Chapter 73(1 / 1)

---

Inside the Fortress, Tu Bai was lying on the Throne, letting Gojo Satoru massage his waist.

These past few days, he had become increasingly accustomed to this person's care. Massaging his waist, feeding him, telling stories, even sleeping by his side at night—even if it was on the floor.

"A little lower," he commanded.

Gojo Satoru's hand moved down a bit.

A little lower.

"Any lower and it'll be your ass," Gojo Satoru said.

Tu Bai blinked. "That works too."

Gojo Satoru: ".."

He was about to say something when a sudden commotion erupted from outside. Then, a Guard rushed in, his face deathly pale.

R-R-R-Rabbit King!" he stammered, "Outside.. there are so many people outside! Such powerful people!

Tu Bai sat up.

Who is it?

The Guard swallowed hard: "The Spider.. the Phantom Troupe.."

Tu Bai's ears twitched.

The Phantom Troupe. He had heard that name. The legends of Meteor City, the most ruthless group of them all.

He stood up, pressing his hand against his abdomen.

Gojo Satoru also stood up and walked to his side.

"The Rabbit King is going personally?" he asked.

Tu Bai glanced at him: "What, you want to stop me?"

I wouldn't dare," Gojo Satoru smiled. "I just want to be with the Rabbit King.

Tu Bai huffed and walked outside.

Gojo Satoru followed behind him.

Walking out of the Fortress, he saw those people.

Thirteen people. They varied in height and build, but the aura on each of them was terrifyingly strong. Standing at the very front was a black-haired man with bandages on his forehead, holding a book in his hand and staring at him.

Chrollo.

Tu Bai stood at the Fortress doorway, his Red Eyes sweeping over those people, his chin lifted.

Who is looking for me?

Uvogin took a step forward. "Is it you? Rabbit King?"

Tu Bai looked at him.

Tall, muscular, wearing an expression that said, "I can fight." An enhancement-type, clearly the type who enjoys direct, head-on confrontations.

It's me," Tu Bai said. "Who are you?

Uvogin laughed.

Uvogin," he said, "come kick some ass.

Tu Bai also smiled.

Alright then," he said, clenching his hand as a Black Tang Sword condensed in his Palm, "I've been feeling a bit restless lately.

Uvogin's eyes lit up, he was about to rush forward.

"Wait." Chrollo spoke.

Uvogin stopped and looked back at him.

Chrollo looked at Tu Bai, then at the Silver-haired man behind him.

That man's aura.. is a bit strange. He is very strong, but it is different from the strength of a Nen user.

"Are you together?" Chrollo asked.

He is my Princess," Tu Bai said. "The father of my Child.

Chrollo's eyebrows twitched.

Princess? The Child's dad?

He looked at Gojo Satoru, who was smiling and said nothing.

Interesting," Chrollo said. "Then let's all go at once.

Uvogin could no longer wait. He rushed forward, throwing a punch toward Tu Bai.

Tu Bai dodged to the side, slashing his blade from bottom to top. Uvogin was fast, but his Clothes were sliced, leaving a tear.

"Not bad speed," Uvogin said, his Eyes shining even brighter.

He pounced on him again.

Tu Bai swung his sword to meet the attack.

His blade was ever-changing; sometimes it was a Long Sword, sometimes a Short Sword, sometimes it would suddenly transform into a Chain to entangle Uvogin's hand. Uvogin possessed great strength, but Tu Bai was agile, the two fought in a fierce, deadlocked struggle.

On the other side, Nobunaga and Feitan set their sights on Gojo Satoru.

Nobunaga's blade was fast, but Feitan's speed was even greater. Both men struck simultaneously, attacking from two different directions.

Gojo Satoru did not move.

The sword and dagger stopped in front of him, nearly touching, but they simply could not touch.

Nobunaga froze for a moment.

Feitan narrowed his eyes.

"What Ability?" he asked.

Gojo Satoru smiled, raised his hand, pressed his index and middle fingers together.

Blue.

A suction force appeared out of nowhere, pulling Feitan toward it. Feitan reacted quickly, immediately adjusting his posture and flipping over in mid-air, but he was still pulled forward, stumbling several steps.

"Emission Type?" Nobunaga frowned.

No," Chrollo's Voice came from behind, "It's different.

He looked at Gojo Satoru, a flicker of interest flashing in his eyes.

An interesting Ability," he said. "It seems to be a spatial type.

Uvogin was still fighting Tu Bai. His fists grew faster and faster, but Tu Bai could always dodge or block them in various ways. Occasionally, Tu Bai's blade slashed him, leaving behind wounds, but he seemed not to feel any pain; instead, he became even more excited.

Awesome!" he shouted, "That was awesome!

Tu Bai panted, his hand guarding his abdomen. That warmth was pulsing, as if it were cheering him on.

Rabbit King," Gojo Satoru's voice came from nearby, "be careful.

Tu Bai glanced at him. Gojo Satoru was surrounded by Nobunaga and Feitan, but his expression was as relaxed as if he were out on a picnic.

"Take care of yourself," he said.

Just then, a Figure suddenly appeared behind him.

Kurapika.

He reached out his hand, creating another version of himself to flank from the other side.

Tu Bai sensed it, turned around, swung his sword, shattering the clone. But in the moment he turned, from another direction, several Nen threads silently wound their way toward him.

Machi.

Tu Bai swung his blade to sever the Nen Line, but one of them grazed his wrist, leaving behind a shallow red mark.

"Tsk." He frowned.

Gojo Satoru moved.

He appeared beside Tu Bai in an instant, raising his hand to block another clone attacking from behind. With the Limitless fully activated, the clone collided with him and immediately dissipated.

"Are you alright?" he asked.

Tu Bai shook his head: "I'm fine."

He turned around and saw Gojo Satoru standing behind him, his back to him, blocking the attacks from the surrounding area.

Tu Bai's heart stirred.

He raised his hand, constructing a shield to protect Gojo Satoru's back.

It just happened to block the strike from Feitan's short sword coming from behind.

Feitan let out a "tsk" and retreated a few steps.

The two stood back to back, facing the enemies surrounding them.

Uvogin was on the left, Nobunaga and Feitan were on the right, Machi was behind them, Phinks and Franklin were also closing in. Chrollo stood in the distance, observing.

Tu Bai suddenly had a strange feeling.

This image.. does it look familiar?

Back to back, fighting side by side. He protected him, he protected him.

"We.." he started, then paused.

Gojo Satoru tilted his head: "What's wrong?"

"Nothing," Tu Bai said, swinging his sword to repel the charging Uvogin.

But that feeling was growing stronger and stronger.

Did they used to.. fight like this before too?

In the distance, Hisoka stood atop a Garbage Heap, watching it all with excitement.
