Chapter 72(1 / 1)

What about the day after tomorrow?

The day after tomorrow, we're going for a walk.

What about the day after tomorrow?

The day after tomorrow, I'll tell a story.

Hisoka: ".."

He stood outside the Fortress, his expression complicated.

There were several pedestrians passing by, watching this scene and whispering among themselves.

Who is that?

I don't know, seems like some kind of lunatic.

Coming to pick a fight with the Princess every single day?

The Princess said he's busy.

Does that person still come?

He comes every day.

.. What a complete lunatic.

Hisoka ignored them. He stared toward the Fortress, his Eyes shimmering with light.

One day.

One day, that big apple will fight him.

He licked his lips and turned to leave.

Tomorrow, come back again.

---

Inside the Fortress, Tu Bai leaned back against the Throne, eating the new sweets that Gojo Satoru had just found.

"That person is here again?" he asked.

Yeah." Gojo Satoru sat down beside him. "He's shouting outside.

Is it annoying?

It is quite annoying.

Tu Bai took a bite of the fruit and chewed.

However," he suddenly said, "it seems he likes you very much.

Gojo Satoru froze for a moment.

Tu Bai looked at him, his Red Eyes holding an indescribable meaning.

The way he looks at you, it's as if he's seen something good.

Gojo Satoru laughed.

Is the Rabbit King jealous?

Tu Bai frowned. "Who is jealous?"

“You.”

I don't.

You do.

Tu Bai stared at him, completely forgetting to eat the fruit in his hand.

Gojo Satoru leaned in and kissed him on the corner of his mouth.

Don't worry," he said, "In my eyes, there is only the Rabbit King.

Tu Bai blinked.

That inexplicable irritability seemed to be smoothed away by those words.

He hummed and continued eating the fruit.

But the corners of his mouth seemed to curl slightly.

Gojo Satoru looked at him, a smile in his Eyes.

Hisoka's pestering was indeed annoying, but there was one advantage—every time this man arrived, Xiao Bai would act exceptionally attentive to him.

As if she were afraid he would truly be snatched away.

Gojo Satoru felt that this little Xiao Bai was so cute he just wanted to knead him.

He reached out and rubbed Tu Bai's ears.

Tu Bai shivered but did not pull away.

"What for?" he asked, his Voice muffled.

Nothing," Gojo Satoru said. "I just want to rub it.

Tu Bai glanced at him and continued eating the fruit.

Outside the window, Hisoka's shouting could still be heard faintly.

But neither of the two people in the Fortress cared.

Chapter 42

The atmosphere in the Phantom Troupe's Meeting Room was somewhat heavy.

It was called a Meeting Room, but it was actually just a dilapidated house inside an abandoned building in Meteor City. A few old sofas were arranged in a circle, several maps were nailed to the walls, weapons and sundries were piled in the corner.

Chrollo sat on the sofa, flipping through a book. With black hair and bandages wrapped around his forehead, a bit of a cross tattoo was visible. His expression was very calm, as if he were reading some interesting story.

Beside them, Uvogin lay on the floor snoring. Nobunaga leaned against the wall, clutching his Long Sword, his eyes half-closed. Feitan was curled up in a Corner, twirling a small knife in his hand.

The door was pushed open, Shalnark walked in, holding a Mobile Phone in his hand.

"There is new Message," he said.

Chrollo looked up.

Shalnark handed it over, on the screen was a blurry Photo—a Black-haired red-eyed man with Rabbit Ears standing upright on his head, sitting in an exaggeratedly large Chair.

District 3 of Meteor City," Shalnark said. "He popped up a month ago, calling himself the 'Rabbit King.' Now, he owns that entire area.

Uvogin's snoring stopped. He opened his eyes and sat up.

Rabbit King?" He frowned. "What on earth is that?

I heard he's quite strong," Shalnark said. "He used a sword he could manifest to take down the former group from District 3 all by himself.

Nobunaga opened his eyes, the sword in his hand shifted.

District 3?" he said. "Isn't that our territory?

It used to be," Shalnark said, "But now it belongs to him.

Silence lasted for a few seconds.

Feitan stood up and put away the sword in his hand.

"Go take a look," he said, his Voice hoarse and low.

Others also stood up.

Chrollo closed the book and slowly stood up.

Let's go," he said. "Back to Meteor City.

---

Two days later, the Phantom Troupe stood at the edge of District 3.

Everything before their eyes left them somewhat stunned.

The trash was the same old trash, the junk was the same old junk. But unlike other parts of Meteor City, this area had clearly been tidied up.

The road was passable. At the very least, one didn't have to trudge through a Garbage Heap. The trash had been piled to both sides, clearing a path through the middle. On both sides of the path, flags made of scraps of cloth were stuck into the ground, featuring crookedly drawn Rabbit patterns on them.

"What the hell," Uvogin muttered.

They walked forward.

There were several locals along the way; upon seeing them, they were initially wary, but once they saw the tattoos on those thirteen people, their expressions changed instantly, they lowered their heads and hurried away.

"Rabbit King's people?" someone muttered in a low voice.

No.. it's a Spider..

Quick, let's go, let's go..

Shalnark smiled as he listened to those whispers.

The Rabbit King's people?" he said. "It seems that Rabbit King has quite a lot of prestige here.

They walked up to the front of the Fortress.

That fortress was certainly eye-catching. With its silver-gray metal texture, it stood like an isolated island amidst the dusty garbage heap. Several Guards stood at the Doorway; upon seeing them, the guards immediately gripped their Weapons.

Halt!" one of them shouted. "This is the Rabbit King's territory, outsiders are not allowed to—

He didn't finish his sentence.

Uvogin had already rushed in front of him, smashing a punch into the wall beside him.

The wall shattered.

The Guard froze there, the sword in his hand nearly slipping away.

Uvogin pulled back his Fist and grinned.

Bring out your Rabbit King," he said. "We have a guest.
