"I'm fine.." he said softly.
That was just good luck," Gojo Satoru said. "What about next time?
Tu Bai fell silent.
Gojo Satoru sighed, turned him back around, continued rinsing his hair.
Hot Water poured down, the foam washed away with the stream.
Tu Bai closed his eyes, feeling that hand rubbing against his head. The pressure was light and gentle.
"Senpai," he spoke again.
Hmm?
I won't run anymore.
Gojo Satoru's hand paused.
Really," Tu Bai said, "running is useless. You will definitely be able to find me.
Gojo Satoru smiled: "It's good that you know."
After washing his hair, Gojo Satoru wrapped him in a bath towel, bundling him up like a zongzi. Then, he carried him out of the Bathroom and placed him on the Bed.
Tu Bai was wrapped up like a roll, with only his head exposed, watching Gojo Satoru pacing around the room. He looked for sleep pants, looked for a hair dryer, drew the curtains tight.
Then Gojo Satoru walked back, peeled him out of the bath towel, put Sleep Pants on him. His movements were very practiced, as if he had done it many times before.
Tu Bai cooperated obediently, reaching out, lifting his arms, lowering his head, letting him put the clothes on properly.
After he was dressed, Gojo Satoru brought over a hair dryer, plugged it in, began drying his hair.
The warm air whistled as Gojo Satoru's fingers moved through his hair.
Tu Bai squinted his eyes, as sleepiness washed over him.
"Senpai," he said dizzily.
Hmm?
Why are you so good to me? Why do you like me?
The Hair Dryer sound stopped for a second, then continued.
"Because it's you," Gojo Satoru said, his voice very soft, almost drowned out by the sound of the Hair Dryer.
Tu Bai didn't hear clearly and wanted to ask again, but he was incredibly sleepy.
After his hair was dried, Gojo Satoru tucked him into the blanket. Tu Bai curled into a ball, revealing only half of his face.
Gojo Satoru took off his clothes, crawled into the blanket as well, hugged him from behind.
Tu Bai felt a warm chest press against him, arms wrapped around his waist, pulling him into an embrace.
He shrank back slightly, pressing even closer.
"Xiao Bai," Gojo Satoru whispered in his ear.
Mm..
I love you.
Tu Bai's lips curled into a slight smile.
"I also.." he said indistinctly, falling asleep before he could finish his sentence.
Gojo Satoru smiled upon hearing that half-sentence.
He tightened his arms, holding the person in his embrace even closer. He leaned down and planted a kiss on his nape.
Go to sleep.
---
I don't know how long I've been asleep.
Tu Bai woke up.
Someone is touching him.
He hummed, trying to turn over, but he was held so tightly that he couldn't move.
"Senpai.." he said indistinctly.
"Hmm?" Gojo Satoru's voice came from above his head, laced with laughter.
Tu Bai opened his eyes.
The curtains were drawn, the room was dark. A small nightlight on the nightstand was on, casting a patch of warm yellow light.
Gojo Satoru leaned beside him, looking down at him. Those Blue Eyes were bright in the dim light, the corners of his mouth curved in an expression that couldn't quite be called serious.
Tu Bai froze for two seconds, then he felt something.
"You.." He blushed.
Gojo Satoru laughed and leaned in to kiss him.
"Awake?" he asked.
Tu Bai glared at him.
But after glaring for two seconds, she lost his temper under his kiss.
..
Later, when Tu Bai thought back on it, he could only remember a few fragmented scenes.
When it was finally over, he could not even lift a finger.
Gojo Satoru held him, gently patting his back just like he would a child.
"Be good, go to sleep," Gojo Satoru whispered in his ear.
Tu Bai closed his eyes.
Just as he was about to fall asleep, he heard Gojo Satoru speak again.
Xiao Bai.
Mm..
If you run again next time, it won't be as simple as just a couple of hits.
Tu Bai was exhausted, muttering indistinctly, ".. I won't run anymore."
Good girl.
Gojo Satoru kissed him on his forehead.
Tu Bai snuggled into his embrace and fell into a deep sleep.
---
When he woke up again, the light seeping through the gaps in the Curtain had turned into a warm yellow.
It should be Evening.
Tu Bai lay in the Bed, staring blankly at the Ceiling.
His body felt a bit sore, but otherwise he was fine. The blanket was pulled up tightly, leaving only his head exposed. The spot beside him was empty, but it still retained a bit of warmth.
He turned his head and looked.
There was a cup of water and a note on the nightstand.
Tu Bai reached out and took the note.
It was Gojo Satoru's handwriting, crooked and messy, but still legible:
[Off to Jujutsu High, will be back later. Food is in the Refrigerator, heat it up before eating. Don't run around. ——Satoru]
There was even a rabbit drawn behind it.
Tu Bai looked at that rabbit and couldn't help but smile.
He folded the note and placed it under the pillow. Then, he turned over, grabbed Gojo Satoru's rabbit-shaped pillow, buried his face into it.
There was his scent on the Pillow.
Tu Bai took a deep breath and curled his lips into a smile.
It seems.. it's actually quite good.
He lay down for a while, then sat up and drank some water.
After drinking, he got out of bed, walked barefoot to the window, pulled the curtain aside slightly to look outside.
The setting sun dyed the sky an orange-red, with several buildings blocking the view in front, only a small patch of sky could be seen.
But just looking at it made one feel good.
Tu Bai stood by the Window, dazing off for a while.
The Mobile Phone rang.
He walked back and picked up the Mobile Phone from the Nightstand.
It was a Message from Tu Bao:
[Er Bao, are you okay? That white-haired man hasn't been bullying you again, has he?]
Tu Bai typed a reply:
[No. It's quite good.]
Tu Bao replied instantly:
[Really?]
Really.
Then when are you coming back to visit?
Tu Bai thought for a moment, then typed:
[In a few days. I'm a bit tired these past two days.]
