Chapter 56(1 / 1)

After the teaching session was over, Matsuda Jinpei was chased away by Kisaragi Chiyo to clean up the messy classroom scene.

Aside from necessary personal hygiene, this also included the gloves that had been soiled during the practical teaching session just now. In any case, the culprit responsible for causing this mess should be the one to handle it.

So now, Kisaragi Chiyo was left alone in the entire room. Steady and gentle breathing rose and fell with her chest, warm light poured down from the ceiling, casting a small, blurred shadow beneath her long eyelashes.

He felt his brain growing drowsy in this silence, but amidst the constant onslaught of sleepiness, those dark-purple-eyed Wraiths he had glimpsed through the gaps in the curtains always flickered before his eyes.

Was it an illusion?

Kisaragi Chiyo thought with effort; although most of his intoxication had cleared after what just happened, his entire being was still in a lazy state, wanting nothing more than to lie down. He was like a dormouse preparing for hibernation, intending to sleep through the entire winter.

But just as he was about to drift into sleep, the brief silence was quickly interrupted by an uninvited guest.

The lightbulb on the ceiling suddenly began to flicker, alternating between light and dark unpredictably, until finally, with a sharp hiss, it went out, the room was plunged into thick darkness.

Meanwhile, the previously tightly closed window had been left ajar by a small crack at some unknown time. A light white mist, carrying the chill of the night, drifted in from the outside. Following the pale moonlight, the light-colored curtains began to flutter and sway beyond any scientific explanation, before suddenly slamming shut with a sharp click.

The sound of the wind stopped.

A tall, dark figure stood by the bedside, his long hair disheveled. His pale and handsome face, like a mountain wraith from a ghost story, exuded a chilling, inhuman beauty.

Those dark-purple-eyed eyes remained motionless, staring intently at the young man lying on the bed, who remained unmoved by the abnormalities around him.

"Kisaragi, Kisaragi, Kisaragi, Kisaragi, Kisaragi, Kisaragi, Kisaragi.." A ceaseless voice rang in his ears, calling his name softly and in a low whisper, accompanied by a cold breath brushing against the edge of his ear.

White mist spread through the room bit by bit. In this viscous darkness, it seemed as if some distorted creatures were constantly churning and gathering, occupying every corner around the young man like climbing vines.

Kisaragi Chiyo did not notice the movement in the darkness; he didn't want to move, nor did he want to pay it any mind. His eyeballs rolled once beneath a thin layer of eyelids, but in the end, he still chose not to open them.

A chill enveloped him, but Kisaragi Chiyo simply pulled the quilt over himself, rolled over, turned his back to the Evil Spirit standing by the bedside.

Seeing that the Dark-purple-eyed Wraith, who had been ignored, said nothing and showed no signs of annoyance or dissatisfaction, he blinked slowly. His long eyelashes fluttered like the fragile wings of a butterfly, his eyes were lowered, looking like a compassionate yet heartless statue of a deity.

Pale, thin lips parted silently, the words swirling on the tip of his tongue before being swallowed back down. Hara Kenji watched Kisaragi Chiyo, who had her back turned to him, remaining motionless as the scene he had just witnessed continued to replay endlessly in his mind.

The young man's flushed cheeks, his moist eyes.. his heavy breathing when overcome with passion and the way he lost himself when being kissed, all of it was taken in by him without reservation.

The feeling filling his heart.. was it jealousy?

Hara Kenji lowered his eyes to savor the feeling, ruminating on it over and over.

At this moment, the bitterness and tightness in his chest were almost overflowing. Perhaps he should express his grievances indignantly, or perhaps he should savagely open his mouth to bite the young man's neck, finally sucking his blood, then, with a sense of excited satisfaction, devour the young man whole.

To fill the long-standing emptiness and hunger within his soul.

Perhaps he should do this.

But he couldn't do that.

Two thoughts were pulling at him; while Hara Kenji craved for Kisaragi Chiyo's flesh and bones to fill him, he clearly understood that even if that happened, he still wouldn't be able to get what he truly wanted in the end.

*

In that case.." In the unpredictable darkness, Hara Kenji let out a light chuckle. "If you are unwilling to move, then I shall take it for myself.

“That's what I call fair.”

As the voice drifted lightly through the air, a faint sound rang out. Kisaragi Chiyo suddenly felt a chill around his ankle; something soft and resilient wrapped around his leg, then gave him a violent tug downward.

The human who had intentionally neglected the puppy was punished by the Bedding Wraith.

"Hara," the exclamation had barely begun before it was abruptly cut off.

Kisaragi Chiyo breathed with difficulty, held in the other's arms by both hands; a broad chest pressed against his face, squeezing the very space where air could flow.

Hara Kenji vengefully pressed his full weight onto him, while the restless tentacles crawled up from his ankles, disappearing under the hem of his yukata and pressing tightly against his skin.

“So cold.”

Kisaragi Chiyo shuddered from the cold of the tentacles probing inside his clothes; he wanted to reach out to stop the other's upward movement, but Hara Kenji caught him in the act.

"You can't do that." Hara Kenji said with a smile, using another tentacle to bind his hands, while one of the hands wrapped around his waist moved to stroke his cheek, his cool fingertips meticulously tracing the young man's features in the darkness.

"You must cooperate with the doctor's examination during the treatment process." Hara Kenji pinched the soft flesh on Kisaragi Chiyo's cheek, playfully poking a dent into his face with his finger.

"What doctor?" Kisaragi Chiyo felt awkward in his current position; he moved uncomfortably, in the next second, the tentacles wrapped around him tightened even further.

He was like prey wrapped in a spider's silk, unable to move, left with no choice but to become a meal.

"A doctor checking your body, of course." Hara Kenji's tone was laced with amusement as his fingers landed on Kisaragi Chiyo's lower lip, repeatedly stroking the bitten wound there.

Every single touch brought a simultaneous surge of stinging pain and tingling numbness.

Kisaragi Chiyo had never realized before that her body could become this sensitive when being caressed, even though it was only her lips.

"Look at that, Little Jinpei is still too green. If it were me, I wouldn't let you get hurt." Even though Hara Kenji's tone was no different from usual, Kisaragi Chiyo could still detect a suppressed sense of danger within it.

Like a volcano that could erupt at any moment amidst the silence.

So at a time like this, one would need a doctor's help, wouldn't they?

"You two.." Kisaragi Chiyo's breathing grew somewhat labored, because the several tentacles that had snaked into her yukata had slowly crawled up to her thighs, a sensation akin to being caressed by multiple hands all at once.

Even just thinking about it was enough to make one want to scream, to a degree that was downright vulgar.

Are you nervous, Kisaragi-kun?" Hara Kenji asked, knowing full well the answer. "Don't worry, I'll treat you more gently than Little Jinpei.

"First it was teacher and student, now it's doctor and patient. Do you two just love role-playing that much?" Kisaragi Chiyo really couldn't help but ask. Although he had indeed been suspected of cooperating with Matsuda Jinpei just now, how could he possibly endure two such instances in such a short amount of time?

Don't you find it interesting, Kisaragi?" Hara Kenji asked in a deliberately surprised tone as he used his fingers to brush away the messy hair from Kisaragi Chiyo's forehead. "You seemed to be having a lot of fun with Little Jinpei just now, didn't you?

Kisaragi Chiyo: ".."

If I said that I'm actually not happy.." Kisaragi Chiyo probed with a hesitant tone, "then would you choose to give up?

"No," Hara Kenji refused without hesitation, letting out an annoying, hearty laugh.

Even though Kisaragi Chiyo couldn't see his face at all in their current position under the covers, it didn't stop him from imagining the other man's obnoxious expression.

"Tsk." Kisaragi Chiyo clicked her tongue in annoyance, but she said nothing more about her reluctance.

*

Alright, Chiyo-chan." Hara Kenji poked her cheek with his finger again, deliberately lowering his voice as he leaned close to her ear. "I'm going to make you feel good. Before Little Jinpei gets back, let me give you a proper examination!

I'm going to turn your body and brain into a complete mess, until you're unable to think about anything other than what you're feeling.

Kisaragi Chiyo felt her scalp go numb at Hara Kenji's words, because she felt that this so-called examination of his was not like the previous ones where he would simply nip at her neck and fingers and stop there.

“Then for the first step, let's turn on the light!”

As Hara Kenji's cheerful voice rang out, Kisaragi Chiyo felt a sudden lightness in her body, she was left completely defenseless, exposed under the bright, piercing light.

“Wait.. what are you doing?” Kisaragi Chiyo's eyes widened slightly, then quickly squinted again due to the sudden brightness.

He looked at Hara Kenji, who had somehow changed into medical attire, the stethoscope in his hand, suddenly had a sudden sense of impending doom.

"To examine my dear patient, of course." Hara Kenji leaned down, his dark-purple eyes curving slightly, a smirk playing on his lips. His long hair fell against Kisaragi Chiyo's face, carrying a hint of a cold, faint fragrance.

"This is the first time I've heard that checking a patient requires tying them up first," Kisaragi Chiyo let out a cold laugh, showing her disdain for the Dark-purple-eyed Wraith's nonsense.

"It's a method to prevent patients from running away during treatment," Hara Kenji replied in a casual tone.

He didn't pay any attention to Kisaragi Chiyo's gaze, instead feigning a serious expression as he put on the stethoscope, then holding one end and probing it into the collar of her yukata.

The circular metal chest piece of the stethoscope moved slowly against the skin of the chest, its movement occasionally accompanied by the light friction of calloused fingertips, triggering a sudden tremor.

"Wait a minute, the tentacles are crawling up.." Kisaragi Chiyo's pupils constricted for a moment. She bit her lower lip, swallowing back the shameful sound that had nearly escaped her lips.

"Ha.. You did that on purpose, didn't you?" Kisaragi Chiyo panted lightly.

Just now, the tentacles crawling up his chest had brushed against a sensitive spot with a seemingly casual but heavy pressure, sending a shock through his entire body like an electric current, leaving his mind blank for a moment.

“Not at all.” The Dark-purple-eyed Wraith denied her actions with a smile, "I am merely conducting what I consider to be a normal examination."

Hmm.. Kisaragi-kun, your heartbeat is very strong and powerful." Hara Kenji tilted his head, listening intently. "Thump, thump, thump.. it sounds like a healthy heart.

"So, have you heard enough?" After catching her breath slightly, Kisaragi Chiyo could still barely maintain her composure; aside from that unusual behavior just now, her current situation was still looking optimistic.

So.. he should be able to hold on until the examination is over, right?

Kisaragi Chiyo thought with uncertainty.

*

Mm.." Hara Kenji rested his chin on one hand, a thoughtful expression crossing his face. "Actually, I feel like just listening isn't enough to be certain.

"Then what do you want to do?" Kisaragi Chiyo lay straight on the bed, her hands bound together above her head by pure white, translucent tentacles.

This was a posture that left one feeling completely vulnerable.

"Do you want to take out my heart and take a good look at it?" the young man asked with a thin, mirthless smile.

If possible, I would love to see it." Hara Kenji bent over, slowly removing his stethoscope, "To see just how much space the name Hara Kenji occupies in your heart.

"And what if I can't find it?" Kisaragi Chiyo countered.

"Then I will carve my own name onto it myself." Hara Kenji tidied the collar that had been loosened during the examination for him, but when his gaze fell upon the ambiguous traces on it, the smile on his face appeared somewhat forced.

Even though I was the one who arrived first.

"Even though Chiyo-chan always deliberately ignores me, leaves me behind, hurts my feelings," Hara lowered his head, rubbing the tip of his nose against Kisaragi Chiyo's cheek, before planting a fleeting kiss on the corner of her mouth.

"But I forgive you." Cold hands cupped his head, a kiss fell upon his left eye. Hara Kenji extended his tongue, licking the physiological tears that overflowed from the corner of Kisaragi Chiyo's eye due to the stimulation.

The other party's sudden action caused Kisaragi Chiyo to close her eyes subconsciously. A sticky tongue swirled around the delicate skin around her eyelids, as she was being bitten and sucked upon, Kisaragi Chiyo felt a momentary trance, thinking that Hara Kenji wanted to eat her eyeballs.

There." Hara Kenji looked up, his movements gentle as he used his fingers to wipe the traces of moisture from the corners of Kisaragi Chiyo's eyes. "Eye exam complete.

Next is the oral examination.

*

Two fingers pressed together slid into the warm, narrow mouth. It first carefully caressed the outer teeth, checking each one to confirm they were healthy, before moving deeper into the interior.

“Kisaragi-kun, open your mouth a little wider.” Hara Kenji looked at Kisaragi Chiyo with a troubled expression, speaking softly, like a doctor being most considerate to a patient.

But the actions of his hands were truly contradictory.

He almost crudely pinched the other's tongue between two fingers, stripping the youth of the right to speak, only released him with a moment of mercy after a long period of teasing.

But the fingers in his mouth did not choose to withdraw; they continued to probe deeper inside.

The sensation of gagging rushed in subconsciously, Kisaragi Chiyo narrowed her eyes. She opened her mouth helplessly, ultimately allowing the intruder to reach the base of her tongue. As the walls of her mouth were poked and prodded, her tongue felt sore, her habitual swallowing did nothing to help.

"Oral examination complete." Perhaps it lasted five minutes? Or ten minutes, a long time like that.

When Hara Kenji's voice rang out, Kisaragi Chiyo actually felt a sense of relief.
