This time, he held a book—he had pulled it out from somewhere; it was tattered, but the words could still be clearly seen.
Rabbit King, it's time to sleep." He sat by the Bedside. "Shall I tell you a story?
Tu Bai lay on the Bed, looking at him.
What story?
Fairy Tale Book," Gojo Satoru opened the book. "Once upon a time, there was a beautiful kingdom, in that kingdom lived a kind Princess..
His Voice was deep and pleasant; when he read stories, it sounded as if he were truly recounting something important.
As Tu Bai listened, his eyelids began to grow heavy.
.. The Prince met a Black hair, Red Eyes Rabbit..
Tu Bai snapped his eyes open: "What?"
Gojo Satoru closed the book and said with a smile, "It's nothing, go to sleep."
Tu Bai stared at him for a few seconds, let out a huff, turned over.
Gojo Satoru put down the book and lay down beside him—Tu Bai had made him sleep on the floor by the Bedside, where he had laid down a Carpet.
The Room fell silent.
After a while, Tu Bai's voice came from the Bed, soft and low:
Princess.
Hmm?
.. It's nothing.
Gojo Satoru curled the corners of his mouth into a smirk but said nothing.
---
These kinds of days passed for several days.
Tu Bai found himself becoming more and more accustomed to that man's presence.
Every morning when he wakes up, there is already food by his side. After he finishes eating, that person asks if his waist feels sore and then gives him a massage. Before going to sleep at night, that person tells stories in a low voice, he falls asleep while listening.
Sometimes when he is in a bad mood, he throws tantrums and breaks things. That person never gets angry; he just watches him make a scene with a smile, once he is finished, he hands him a cup of water and asks, "Feeling any better?"
Tu Bai sometimes felt like a spoiled Child.
But that person seemed very willing to spoil him.
That night, Tu Bai woke up again.
It was not because of a nightmare, nor was it because of any Movement outside.
It was because his chest felt uncomfortable.
It felt stuffy and bloated, as if something was clogging the inside. He rolled over, but he was still uncomfortable. He sat up and looked down at his chest.
It seems.. a bit larger?
He frowned, reaching out to press it. It hurt. But it wasn't exactly painful; it was a strange, irritating, throbbing ache.
"Princess," he called out.
Gojo Satoru immediately sat up from the ground: "What's wrong?"
I'm uncomfortable," Tu Bai said, pointing to his chest, "right here.
Gojo Satoru froze for a moment.
Tu Bai looked at him and said righteously, "Come over here and massage me."
Gojo Satoru: ".."
Tu Bai saw that he wasn't moving and frowned, "Hurry up."
Gojo Satoru took a deep breath.
He knew that Xiao Bai was currently in a state of amnesia, knew that Xiao Bai didn't understand any of this at all, knew that Xiao Bai was simply feeling unwell and wanted his help.
He knew.
He walked over, sat at the Bedside, reached out his hand.
Tu Bai let out a soft moan and leaned against him, squinting his eyes, his ears drooping softly.
"Is it comfortable?" Gojo Satoru asked, his voice a little hoarse.
“Mmh..” Tu Bai responded indistinctly.
After rubbing for a while, Tu Bai spoke again: "I want the other side too."
Gojo Satoru changed hands.
Tu Bai leaned entirely into his embrace, resting his head on his shoulder, his breathing gradually becoming steady.
Gojo Satoru looked down at him, suddenly feeling a sense of stifled frustration.
This person remembers nothing, yet still trusts him so much. Lying in his arms, letting him rub his chest, he was about to fall asleep.
And as for himself, his endurance was reaching its breaking point.
He looked at Tu Bai's oblivious face, the more he looked, the angrier he became.
He lowered his head..
Tu Bai shuddered, his eyes snapping open.
You..
"Does it feel good?" Gojo Satoru lifted his head and looked at him.
Tu Bai stared at him blankly, his Red Eyes looking a bit dazed, but he did not pull away.
After a moment, he blinked and said, "It's alright."
Gojo Satoru: ".."
Tu Bai looked down at the place where he had been sucked, then looked at Gojo Satoru, suddenly said, "I want the other side too."
Gojo Satoru took a deep breath.
He lowered his head, attending to the other side as well.
Tu Bai let out that same muffled, comfortable moan again.
Gojo Satoru raised his head, wanting to say something.
Upon looking, he discovered that Tu Bai's gaze was fixed on his neckline—his clothes had been pulled open during his movements, revealing a patch of chest muscle.
Tu Bai stared at that patch of pectoral muscle, then looked down at his own, then frowned.
"How are you even bigger than me?" he said, his tone carrying obvious dissatisfaction.
Gojo Satoru froze.
Tu Bai sat up, reached out, pulled aside his clothes, exposing his entire chest.
Two pectoral muscles, with distinct lines, shimmered with a healthy glow in the dim Light.
Tu Bai stared for a few seconds, then—
Bit down hard.
He bit into the pectoral muscle on the left side.
Gojo Satoru gasped.
Tu Bai didn't bite hard, but his teeth pressed into the flesh, causing a bit of pain and something else as well.
He bit for a few seconds before letting go, looking at that Bite Mark, then looking at Gojo Satoru's face.
Gojo Satoru's expression was complicated.
Tu Bai suddenly felt that he might have been a bit excessive.
He paused, lowered his head, stuck out his tongue, licked the Bite Mark.
Gojo Satoru's breathing instantly became ragged.
Tu Bai licked it again, as if he were studying something.
“You..”
Gojo Satoru had just opened his mouth when he realized the person in front of him had gone still.
He looked down.
Tu Bai leaned against his chest, his Eyes closed, his Breathing steady.
He had fallen asleep.
Gojo Satoru froze there, motionless for a long time.
He looked at that quiet, sleeping face in his arms, at the slightly trembling eyelashes, at that hint of a smile at the corner of the mouth, born from some unknown dream.
The fire in his heart slowly subsided, turning into a complex, indescribable Emotion.
He reached out, gently straightened Tu Bai's clothes, laid him flat on the bed, covered him with the Pillow.
Then he sat by the Bedside, looking at that face, for a long time.
Outside the window, the night in Meteor City was as dark as ever.
Gojo Satoru reached out and gently touched Tu Bai's cheek.
Xiao Bai," he said softly, "just when will you finally remember?
Tu Bai stirred in his sleep, nuzzling his finger.
Gojo Satoru's finger paused.
He withdrew his hand, stood up, walked to the Window.
Outside, the Garbage Mountain looked like a series of massive burial mounds in the night. In the distance, Firelight flickered; it was unclear whether someone was burning something or if it had ignited naturally.
Gojo Satoru stood there, staring into the darkness, motionless for a long time.
